Muqtada al-Sadr has resurfaced in Iraq after months of speculation that he had left and has ordered his forces to cease fighting other Iraqis.

In addition, al-Sadr has publicly taken Bush up on his offer to withdraw if the Iraqis request it. Of course, he cannot speak for the the Iraqi government, but perhaps the request will start an uprising to pressure the government to ask coalition forces to leave.
