Former NY Mayor and Republican presidential candidate, Rudolph Giuliani, is coming under fire about his stance(s) on gun control. As major of NY, he was a staunch advocate of control. Now, in an effort to capture the republican nomination, he's changing his tune.

The AP reports that Giuliani is facing some tough questions as he tries to remake his image as an advocate for second amendment rights.

"It doesn't matter if I believe in it or not — and I do — it is the Second Amendment," Giuliani said. "I'm a strict constructionist. The Second Amendment says you have an individual right to bear arms."

One has to wonder if Giuliani's sheen as the 9/11 guy could possibly get his liberalism all the way to the Republican nomination. He has to be the closest thing the Republicans have to a poison pill candidate.
